The controversial, former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth married to his girlfriend Bhuvneshwari Kumari in the presence of Shree Krishna at Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple located in Kerala. A Nair family made a strong bond with royal Shekhawat family of Jaipur, and the romantic relationship got new meanings after 6 years of wait.

The pre-marriage functions including Mehandi and Sangeet were held in Kochi. The bride and her Diwanpura royal family headed to Kerala on 8 December for further wedding-related ceremonies.

The right-arm fast-medium Bowler Shanthakumaran Sreesanth and Jewelry Designer Nain Shekhawat AKA Bhuvneshwari Kumari AKA Nayan donned traditional Kerala costumes. The couple exchanged the rings and garlands in 15-minutes-long low-key ceremony. The bride and groom later headed to Sree’s place in Kochi, where a wedding reception is supposed to welcome the guests at Le Meridian hotel.

The girl stood by Sree throughout the good or bad repair, from his imprisonment following a spot-fixing outrage during Indian Premier League 2013 to when BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) banned him for life from cricket after snooping by the national apex cricket body. Sree has been charged with draconian measures. Sree’s case is under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act), which is posted for 18 Dec.

Sreesanth is the first Kerala Ranji player who played for India in 20-20 cricket. He has played 27 test matches, 53 ODI and 72 FC matches, taking 87, 75, and 210 wickets respectively.
