The show begins with the concept of discovering new solo or duet singing talent and welcomes the contestants aged 15 or above. After a series of public auditions, the shortlisted contestants come ahead to prove their talent and win the hearts of audiences. The viewers also become a part of the show by voting their favorite contestants by text messages, calls, internet, and purchase of the performances at iTunes Store. The winner gets awarded by US $100,000 and contract of recording with the Universal Music Group. The first and second franchise of The Voice offered the contract with Universal Republic Records.
The Voice of America, shortened to The Voice, commenced on the idea of The Voice of Holland. The channel NBC pronounced the show in December 2010.

The show has given its fifth star now. After Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery, the star who shinned as The Voice winner is Tessanne Chin. Nevertheless, the finale report is incomplete without mentioning the names of Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee.

If the willing mentors (who express their interest) are more than one, then the contestant selects among them.

When she performed “Try” from Pink in blind audition of The Voice, all four judges wanted to coach her, but Chin selected Adam Levine as her mentor. Her fiery performances and musical steps leaded her to the crown and her first U.S. single. With “Tumbling Down” by Ryan Tedder, she is back to rule over millions of hearts.

Wish you good luck Chin, for your musical journey and future endeavors!
