The love-birds want to unite and grow old with each other but the old enemy of love, the girl’s father always tries to spoil the broth; this is the universal hitch that dominates the story world of Bollywood cinema. Bewakoofiyaan portrays a love story that revolves around the same, but in the life of new characters that are young and ambitious.

Story of Bewakoofiyaan

A corporate couple that belongs to a middle class family when fall in love, the boy had to face the hardships. Ayushmaan Khurrana as Mohit is a brain of marketing expert and Sonam as Mayera owns a financial intellect with passion for shoes. The hard working couple that is struggling to step forward on their career path is in love to bits. They enjoy their life, party harder and love each other as if they can live on their love only.

The willful and stubborn father of Mayera, who is a bureaucrat, stands hard on his belief that only a loaded boy can bring happiness to his daughter’s life and a boy like Mohit is good for nothing.

The evil recession adds fuel and put lovers to the test. Know who will win: corporate sector’s Mohit-Mayera or Sarkari bureaucrat Rishi Kapoor who is playing the role of Mayera’s father V. K. Sehgal? Bewakoofiyaan depicts how challenging is the love-relationship in today’s scenario, specially for middle class couples in the era of economic crisis.
