YRF Celebrates 1000 Weeks of DDLJ with New Trailer of Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge Trailer appears so fresh even now; it is hard to believe that YRF is celebrating its 1000 weeks of DDLJ, that is 25 years. This love-story's fragrance is so strong that makes you wonder about its so long journey.

Say it the magic of its heart-strumming songs or the warmth fueled by Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's chemistry, but it has a power that you can't keep your eyes away if it is airing. Now when the new trailer of DDLJ got released by YRF, millions of people joined the team through watching the trailer. And why not? Every story doesn't touch you so deep that you get eager of reviving it.

25 Years of Romance! 1000 Weeks of 1 Love-story! I sigh!

The movie had released on 20th October 1995 under Yash Raj Films banner.

The trailer begins with the perfect notes of Naa Jaane Mere Dil Ko Kya song and you see Shahrukh Khan with violin and Kajol running towards him in those Sarson Ke Khet. It redefines the romance between Raj and Simran.

Raj and Simran spend time during their Europe tour and their the love-seeds come into the story, which sprout when Simran gets back to India and Simran leads to her arrange marriage. The love peaks and ultimately shows its presence.

On the other side, Raj gets encouraged by Anupam Kher, his father and decides to win his bride and her family members. Raj flies from London to India where his girl Simran's wedding rituals were in full swings. How they hide the flames of love from other; how Raj keeps trying to impress Simrans's father, Amrish Puri, and how their love-story reaches to happy ending, this is all you witness through the film.

The trailer of DDLJ gives you the highlights of why the film created the history. Yes, the powerful dialogues did add the weight.

"Bade-bade desho mein (In big-big countries)
aisi cchoti-cchoti baatein hoti rehti hein (Such small-small thing do happen!)"

"Agar ye tuje pyar karti he, (If she loves you,)
To ye palat ke dekhegi..palat! (Then she will turn to see you...turn back!)"

There were many such who brought Raj and Simran close to the audiences. Produced by Yash Chopra, the film DDLJ aka Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was brilliantly directed by Aditya Chopra. The film have crossed many milestones and it seems the movie will keep going on the same path.

As an audience, I wish such more films come; not because of its romantic part (only), but because of the values and traditions that are shown in the movie. Indian marriages, scenic beauty of farms, and all that family drama are what we Indians can easily digest if served with some soothing pieces of music. And perhaps the success story of DDLJ also lies in between this. Isn't it?!
