Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaaron

Singer: Arijit Singh, Aditi Singh Sharma
Composer: Amaal Mallik
Lyricist: Kumaar
Mastering & Mixing by: (Future Sound of Bombay) Eric Pillai

One can easily identify the voice of Arijit Singh in Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaroon song. Ho Ja Zara Matlabi is composed by Amaal Malik and very well fueled with energy through its foot-tapping notes. Jaqueline has looked pleasant on the screen in the song and both of the heroes Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal have matched her too. Featuring beautiful locations, this peppy track is a good one in the album.

Tu Hai Ki Nahi

Singer: Ankit Tiwari
Composer: Ankit Tiwari
Lyricist: Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay

Ankit Tiwari is on his highest; his songs prove this. Composed and sung by him, Tu Hai Ki Nahi is no exception to it. The guitar strumming piece and pretty cool whistling have made the track catchy, fresh, and up to what we expect from the young singer and composer.

The bike-ride of Ranbir Kapoor has given inspiring vibes to bikers who love to make their fly on long routes. His chilling attitude has gone right with the moving trees along the street.

Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan

Singer: Meet Bros Anjjan, Kanika Kapoor
Composer: Meet Bros Anjjan
Lyricist: Kumaar
Mastering & Mixing by: (Future Sound of Bombay) Eric Pillai

Another foot-tapping song to lift your mood up! And Jacqueline Fernandez has added sparks to the song.

Kalaiyaan reminded me of Baby Doll that was a big hit for its beats. Baby Doll was also a composition of Meet Brothers which was written by Kumaar and sung by Kanika Kapoor. The team is repeated in Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan song and it seems the team Baby Doll has ensured that the success too falls the same way to their kitty.

The quirky song's beats are beautifully blended with classy moves and killing adaayein of Jaqueline Fernandez in Roy movie's song Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan. Whether they are golden jhumke, gulabi chunni, colorful choodiyan, or any other shopping, if requested this way by a diva like Jaqueline, who will be able to deny or avoid?!

Boond Boond

Singer: Ankit Tiwari
Composer: Ankit Tiwari
Lyricist: Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay

One of the intense romantic tracks, Boond Boond is a track not only for romantic songs' lovers but also for those who crave for good background score too. For me, its music pieces in between were the highlights. Where the whispering words jiggle mystery in beginning, the lyrics penned by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay starkly maintain the sensual quotient.

Yaara Re

Singer: K.K.
Composer: Ankit Tiwari
Lyricist: Sandeep Nath

A small Violin piece in starting comes as a surprise in Ankit Tiwari's composition. The song is penned by Sandeep Nath and K.K. has beautifully given soul to the track. The strategy of using electric guitar while high pitch and peak-a-boo of violin has worked okay overall.

Sooraj Dooba Hain (Female Version)

Singer: Aditi Singh Sharma, Arijit Singh

The female version of Sooraj Dooba Hai is a recreated composition with mastering and mixing by Eric Pillai. The song is energetic, perky and could be one of the hit-list for parties or clubs. Eric Pillai has done his job quite well.

Tu Hai Ki Nahi (Unplugged)

Singer: Tulsi Kumar
Composer: Ankit Tiwari
Lyricist: Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay

The unplugged version of Tu Hai Ki Nahi, crooned by Tulsi Kumar and given the lyrics by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay also maintain the good pace like its original version.

The Bottom Line: Music Review of Roy Album

No song of the album bores you at all and every track blends well to the Roy usic album. In fact, Sooraj Dooba Hai, Tu Hai Ki Nahi and Kalaiyaan are three of this album which keep repeat value too, which is a good sign. The soundtracks get 3.2 from me out of 5 for the music album of Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jaqueline Fernandez starer 'Roy'.
