The audience took breath in glamour and grandeur when Manish Malhotra opened the couture show, showing his exclusive collection with “The Persian Story”, leaving everyone awestruck. Fawad Khan, the Pakistani heartthrob ignited the ramp walk and India Couture Week 2016. The show saw over 80 models flaunting at Manish Malhotra. The drop shoulder blouse was the Manish Malhotra’s touch to fuse it with global fashion.

The highlight remained the showstopper Deepika Padukone who entered in off shoulder choli and heavy lehenga with absence of a dupatta. The diva stunned and looked every-bit-gorgeous. She chose a bun for her hair-do, keeping some straight hair-locks falling on her cheeks freely.

The costume of Deepika Padukone by Manish Malhotra took around three months to complete. So, what was so special about this red attire flaunted by Deepika at opening of ICW2016? Featured aged velvet and heavy golden embroidery was what made that look rich. The art architecturally intricate and does its job pretty well, Manish Malhotra took the right step for this.
