Day-2 of India Couture Week 2016: “Epic Love” by Anita Dongre
FDCI India Couture Week 2016’s runway saw the “never seen before by Anita Dongre” when it was embellished with her bridal Exclusives, “Epic Love”. ICW2016's day-2 brought a fully fresh breeze of bridals at Hotel Taj of Delhi and left everyone with a smile.
Proving the title of her collection right, just like the character of love, her designs were little heavy and little light. The designs were given the classic touch of Anita Dongre, know below- how.
Gypsy Princess Bridal Collection: Atypical Wearable Designs by Anita Dongre
Her designs were inspired by gypsy princess in love. The collection was kept very foxy and trivial which was teamed with the hair and makeup that were blending with them. Anita Dongre is known for surprising by using the Gota- patti in new way altogether, every time. This show was no exception. The whole collection was united with her signature Gota- Patti and craft. The range of sarees, anarkalis and lehenga saw the embroidery and were wrapped in Anita Dongre’s touch.

She brought buhim (bohem) in styling with her designs. Not so heavy, very light, fun, and heavy pieces enriched the Anita Dongre’s collection where colors like orange, pink and deep blue ruled the show.
Her young and cool collection was also much appreciated with exhilaration by her showstopper of the show who is an actor- Bhumi Pednekar. Her beautiful and super epic collection truly left every one with a feel of Epic Love while presenting a show full of prettiest garments for women.
